La Casa de los Niños

For children 4 -14 La Casa has its own club called La Casa de los Niños. Being a member of our special club gives kids a range of activities to participate in. From crafting to scavenger hunts, from making music to dance and drama. Sign your child up for La Casa de los Niños when you arrive and he or she will have the time of his/her life while staying at our resort. And you will have some well-deserved time for yourself. Hiking

La Casa is surrounded by pristine crown land. Beautiful Ponderosa, Lodge Poll and other pine trees fill the area, giving out that nice summer smell. A variety of wild life, wild flowers and a multitude of beautiful views make hiking these hills a real treat. Get our trail map and explore the area by yourself or sign up for a guided hike including breakfast and maybe spot a deer or big horn sheep. Boating, kayaking and canoeing

Whether you bring your own boat (motorized or non-motorized) or want to rent a kayak or canoe, La Casa offers private boat slips for our guests. Lake Okanagan stretches from Vernon to Penticton: 150 km of water to cruise around in. Visit the little deserted beaches and have a picnic or stop at the various restaurants and pubs along the shoreline for some lunch, dinner or drinks. Bring your wakeboard, water skis or tube and have some fun splashing around in the water or peddle away in the morning dew to see the sun rise above the mountaintop and watch the earth wake up to yet another gorgeous day in the Okanagan.
